Elysian refers to something extraordinarily beautiful, peaceful or paradisiacal. It is often used to describe a state of perfect bliss or an idyllic place. In art or literature, it is sometimes used to describe a heavenly or dreamlike atmosphere.
In my abstract work, I reflect on feelings gained from experiences: Hiking in the mountains, harvesting fresh vegetables, admiring old doors in small villages, beautiful encounters, etc.
This is one of the investigations into abstract visualisation of a blissful feeling.
